I am a Certified Meditation Instructor

In January of 1997, NBC nightly news anchor Tom Brokaw reported that the anti-depressant Prozac was the fifth most commonly prescribed drug in America.  That was a huge red flag for myself as the founder of Mindful Energy Leadership and FourGates.com because only proactive, life skills can treat the causes of human struggles.  Something had to be done to offer alternatives to drugs to help reduce stress, increase positive energy, affirm life, loving-kindness, compassion and wisdom.

I’d used the methods of mindfulness meditation, yoga-like body stretching, positive affirming thinking, insight meditation, karma yoga, aka, “service to others” and inspirational study for decades since childhood.  I too faced my share of work life stress,  challenges, hectic deadlines, career challenges and morale depressants, which caused me to seek out the time tested approaches to maintaining a proactive style of living. These methods taught me how to live with great positive energy, well-being and bodily health. Each of you can develop powerful, life enriching skills to cope with daily stresses at work, home, in family and daily life.  We’re strong if these mindfulness and positive energy based skills are engaged daily.
